why photography?
A few years ago, my grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. At the party, there was a long table with wedding photos of every married couple in the family, from the newest marriages to theirs. At the end of the table was a black-and-white photograph, shot on film, of my grandparents kneeling before the altar during their Nuptial Mass. It was striking, the light pouring through the stained glass window, a little grainy, full of depth and emotion. Standing there, 60 years later, it was as timeless as the day it was taken. I realized right there that is what I want for my couples. Photographs that still feel true and can transport you back. Make you feel like you're a part of that moment....even decades later.

Inspired by the style and aesthetic of a bygone era, we shoot a hybrid of 35mm and medium format film and digital photography.
Blending mediums allows us to weave together a rich collection of imagery that is both elevated and honest.
