Some wedding days feel like they’re wrapped in grace from beginning to end, our good friends, Erin and Nicholas’s wedding day was exactly that kind of day.
Their wedding mass was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in downtown Indianapolis, one of our favorite churches in the city. The mass was traditional and reverent, a true slice of heaven. Nicholas has a special devotion to St. Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei and Erin serached high and low to surprise him with a relic on their wedding day! In turn, Nicholas gifted Erin with a stunning Icon of Jesus Christ Bridegroom which their priest placed on the altar for the wedding mass.
After the joyful wedding mass we took their bridal portraits at the Indiana War Memorial, basking in the sunny and perfectly warm mid-April day. The entire afternoon was peaceful and present, you could feel the joy of the sacrament! The celebrations kicked off at Liter House with toasts, tears, and a packed dance floor from beginign to end. What more could you ask for in a wedding day?
Erin and Nicholas, thank you for trusting us to document your first day as husband and wife. Your love and your steadfast faith in The Lord was an absolute honor to witness.
